Who we are
Albion Square Residents Association was founded in 1977 and is a community group in Hackney, London. Some of us have lived in the area our entire lives, and others are new, but we all share our love of the area and our neighbourhood. The ASRA committee is made up of 8 of our residents, who hold their position for three years but all our members play an integral part in our community.
What we do
Together we keep an eye on local matters: environmental, planning, traffic etc. We inform and update residents of local happenings and represent the members when united.
ASRA organise social events in the square, where our local community can come together. From tea and cake to carol singing. Other highlights of our calander are the Summer Party and an Easter Egg hunt.
We also organise an AGM so everyone can get together and talk about any issues and what we would like to prioritise.
News & info
We keep you up to date with local information from Hackney Council, and the police, as well as any other local events or situations that may interest you.
All residents are invited to submit any material that they think it would be useful for us all to be aware of.
